Eimaar Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (Eimaar) is implementing an education project in White Nile State, Sudan, to improve access to safe, inclusive, and quality education for children affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty.
Funding provided by Sudan Relief; implementation carried out by Eimaar.
Years of conflict have made White Nile State a refuge for thousands of internally displaced families, placing immense pressure on an education system that was already overstretched. Many schools lack basic infrastructure, and others cannot accommodate the growing number of students. In some communities, children study in the open because there are no classrooms, sanitation facilities, or secure school compounds.
The project is constructing and rehabilitating school infrastructure—including classrooms, administrative offices, latrines, and protective fencing—to create a safe, child-friendly learning environment. Eimaar is also working closely with local communities, education authorities, and development partners to increase enrollment, improve attendance, and ensure that the most vulnerable children—especially girls, internally displaced children, and children from low-income families—have access to quality primary education.
Through this initiative, Eimaar seeks to restore hope, strengthen community resilience, and invest in Sudan’s future by ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
